The Rosary Prayers at the Ancient Celtic church
The Rosary
The rosary has a long tradition in Marian worship. But it is also used in the form of a prayer cord for the Jesus prayer in the Orthodox Church. We would like to introduce you to a few rosary prayers that are used in the Ancient Celtic Church.
Prayers for the Anglican Rosary (in the shape of a cross)
Blessing of the Elements Rosary for the Anglican Rosary
written by Rev. Alexandra Gapski, Ancient Celtic Church
The cross:
In the name of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Invitatory:
God’s love shines in me like a fire
so that I may carry it on and kindle other hearts and souls with it.
Glory to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit:
As in the beginning, so also now, always and forever. Amen.
Cross Shaping Beads:
May the Holy Three be protection and guidance to me.
She teaches me to respect and protect creation and to be a light to others.
Week pearls:
(Each sentence is prayed on a different bead)
The blessings of the moon fill me with wisdom.
The blessings of the sun fill me with warmth and light.
The blessing of the wind give my soul wings.
The blessings of the rain wash me free from negativity.
The blessing of the forest give me healing.
The blessing of the earth give me roots.
May the blessings of heaven give my thoughts space.
