I apologise for my laxity, that I have not kept up to date with our website.
I am far behind because, well, I have not spent much time on the computer or the websites I oversee.
Last December, I was diagnosed with functional neurological disorder and have been unsteady on my feet, experiencing aphasia. This is a disorder where you have problems speaking or understanding what other people say. It usually happens because of damage to part of your brain, but it can also happen with conditions that disrupt how your brain works. And problems with my memory or concentration are symptoms of FND. I find that I: lose track while doing things, for example, being unable to remember why I went into a room. go blank, for example, when trying to recall my pin number.
